Vintage Mexican Leather-Wrapped Mezcal Canteen / Bota Flask
Handcrafted rustic leather-covered canteen with braided shoulder strap and hand-burned folk-art decoration. One side features an agave motif with mountains and birds; the reverse bears the traditional Spanish saying:
"Para todo mal, mezcal. Para todo bien, también."
(“For everything bad, mezcal. For everything good, as well.”)
The hand stitching, natural leather texture, pyrography-style decoration, and folk inscription suggest it was made as a decorative or souvenir-style drinking vessel associated with Mexican mezcal culture. These were commonly sold in artisan markets and tourist regions.
